WordPress website takeover & ongoing support
Parker Andrews is an award-winning insolvency and business recovery firm that was looking for a specialist partner to support the ongoing hosting, maintenance and development of its WordPress website.
They came to us through a recommendation from one of our existing clients, which is one of the best signs of a good working relationship.
Our approach
Audit first
Before taking on hosting, maintenance and support responsibilities, we carry out a comprehensive technical audit. This gives us a clear understanding of the existing environment, highlights any opportunities for improvement and ensures we can provide clients with the highest levels of security, stability and ongoing support from day one.
For a business built on trust, reputation and financial expertise, a secure and dependable website is an extension of Parker Andrews’ own professional standards.
What the audit found
Three areas we strengthened on takeover
As is common when taking over an established website, the audit identified several areas where we could strengthen security, performance and maintainability, including:
01
Security
Enhancements
The audit identified opportunities to strengthen the custom theme, implement Content Security Policy (CSP) headers and remediate a small number of template files.
02
Plugin
Optimisation
Redundant plugins were removed and others updated to improve security, compatibility and long-term maintainability.
03
Hosting
& Performance
Following the migration to our hosting platform, we implemented a range of caching and infrastructure enhancements, including Cloudflare, to improve performance, resilience and security.
The outcome
Swift & thorough
The audit and remediation process was swift and thorough, resulting in a website that was more secure, more stable and better optimised for ongoing support and future development.
Infotex have been a pleasure to work with from the initial migration through to the ongoing development of our website. They’re responsive, knowledgeable and proactive, taking the time to understand our objectives and consistently offering practical, well-considered solutions. Their strategic approach has helped us shape the future development of our website with confidence, and it has been a genuinely collaborative partnership. We look forward to continuing to work together.

A partnership, not a project
A site isn’t “done” at launch
Since the migration, we’ve continued working closely with Parker Andrews on an ongoing programme of website improvements, including redesigning key location pages, implementing new functionality and supporting continued optimisation as Parker Andrews’ digital marketing strategy evolves.
This project demonstrates how we approach every WordPress website takeover: audit first and act on anything that matters. A site isn’t “done” at launch; continued development ensures continued success. It’s also a great example of how word-of-mouth recommendations can grow into long-term partnerships.
