Having started at Infotex as a Production Apprentice in 2006, Katie has worked her way up through the company; she really knows our operations inside out, and her experience within the company makes her work as Production Manager invaluable.
“For me, the best bit about working for Infotex is the loyalty of the team. Many of us have worked in the company for years, even decades, and I think that says a lot about us as a business. As colleagues we’re in it for the long run and that’s how we work with our clients too.”
Katie manages the resource and production across Infotex, ensuring that we can be confident in our commitments to our clients through proper planning and processes. She supports the team in managing their projects, as well as managing her own clients. We use a combination of Scrum and Waterfall methodologies for all of our projects and Katie ensures that these are properly adhered to from start to finish. Working closely with our Customer Support manager and CTO, she helps to make sure that our departments are aligned, and to share learning and feedback across the teams.
Katie started at Infotex in August 2006, having joined as a production apprentice straight from 6th form. She worked closely alongside the Production Manager, learning the ropes and attending as many meetings as possible – it’s a great way to learn! Along the way she attended several courses and is currently working on her management diploma.
Katie is a really organised mum of two and loves a good list; at work she’s always in reaching distance of her notepad! Her passion is running, and she has taken part in multiple 10k races as well as being part of the Infotex team at the Suffolk Whole Hog, a very muddy assault course over 7 miles – great fun! She loves being outdoors and on holidays you can often find her off-roading in her Landrover or camping in the roof tent!
